Mental Health Professional Ann Marie Yezzi-Shareef receives her doctorate
The Achievement Center would like to congratulate Dr. Ann Marie Yezzi-Shareef for completing her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Gannon University. “I always want to do my job the best I can. With my degree, the Achievement
Center and our clients are getting someone with intense training, who can be utilized in many programs. I could not have obtained this degree with out the support of the Achievement Center,” said Dr. Yezzi-Shareef.
She completed the program in 7.5 years which included: countless classes; a 2,000 hour internship between Mercyhurst College and Gannon University; and a dissertation about parents of children with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder titled, “Pediatric Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: A qualitative study of caregivers’ experiences.”
Now that she has completed the requirements for the degree, Dr. Yezzi-Shareef will start meeting the requirements to become a licensed psychologist.
