LEADERS Co-Director Robert Gulick, MFA, BCBA, presented a research poster at the Association for Behavior Analysis' National Autism Conference in Atlanta, Ga., in February 2008. The topic of the research was on the development of derived manding (requesting skills) in children with autism.

On February 24, Gulick and LEADERS Co-Director Tom Kitchen, MS, BCBA gave a presentation hosted by the Millcreek Township School District, offered twice over the course of the afternoon and evening. The title of the presentation was "Behavioral Assessment and Intervention for Children with Autism."

On November 1, 2007, Kitchen gave an address at the annual New York State Association for Behavior Analysis conference held in Verona, NY. The title of the talk was "The Growth of ABA: A Double-Edged Sword?"

In May 2008, Gulick, Kitchen and Dr. Phillip Belfiore of Mercyhurst College presented a symposium at the National Conference of the Association for Behavior Analysis, International, in Chicago. The topic of the presentation dealt with their model for providing intensive, "real world" supervision to candidates for Board Certification in Behavior Analysis.
