The Achievement Center of LECOM Health has been identified as an essential life-sustaining business under the healthcare/child services sector.

The Achievement Center of LECOM Health is continuing mission delivery via phone and video platforms, when possible and effective. 

We have also begun to resume face-to-face services in a cautious, phased approach. Clients and families will have the opportunity to work with their respective clinician(s) to determine if and when in-person service delivery is the best fit for their needs.

A Message to our Families

August 2020

Dear Achievement Center of LECOM Health Family,

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our community, we are closely monitoring and evaluating the continued recommendations of the CDC, Department of Health, and local officials. As we navigate through this challenging situation, please know your family’s safety and well-being continues to be our top priority.

As we move forward during our counties’ “green phase,” the Achievement Center of LECOM Health will continue mission delivery via telehealth, when possible and effective, but will also resume face-to-face services in a cautious, phased approach. Clients and families will have the opportunity to work with their respective clinician(s) to determine if and when in-person service delivery is the best fit for their needs.

With this measured return to in-person service delivery, the Achievement Center of LECOM Health has issued an extensive protocol to staff highlighting safety precautions as well as preparing staff with safety kits including proper PPE, sanitization items and masks. Additionally, the following precautions will be followed:

  • assessing clients/staff for COVID-19 symptoms prior to work, daily
  • limiting the number appointments for staff who are delivering face-to-face services
  • requiring all staff and clients/families to wear face coverings
  • continued restriction of clients/staff on-site to reduce the number of people in our facilities

Several of our programs have additional health and regulatory guidelines that must be followed to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality, in-person services. Your clinician will communicate any additional considerations as you move toward in-person services.
