Achievement Center of LECOM Health COVID-19 Response

ACLH Employees Eligible to Receive COVID-19 Moderna Vaccine

We are happy to announce that Achievement Center of LECOM Health employees are eligible to receive the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine thanks to our affiliation with LECOM Health. As healthcare workers of an organization deemed life-essential, ACLH has continued mission delivery despite the challenges presented by the pandemic. We are thankful for early access to the COVID vaccine to help ensure the safety and wellness of our staff and the children and families we serve.

Services

The Achievement Center of LECOM Health has been identified as an essential life-sustaining business under the healthcare/child services sector.

The Achievement Center of LECOM Health is continuing mission delivery via phone and video platforms, when possible and effective.

We have also resumed face-to-face services in a cautious, phased approach. Clients and families will have the opportunity to work with their respective clinician(s) to determine if and when in-person service delivery is the best fit for their needs.

A Message to our Families

Dear Achievement Center of LECOM Health Family,

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our community, we are closely monitoring and evaluating the continued recommendations of the CDC, Department of Health, and local officials. As we navigate through this challenging situation, please know your family’s safety and well-being continues to be our top priority.

As we move forward, the Achievement Center of LECOM Health will continue mission delivery via telehealth, when possible and effective, but has also resumed face-to-face services in a cautious, phased approach. Clients and families will have the opportunity to work with their respective clinician(s) to determine if and when in-person service delivery is the best fit for their needs.

With this measured return to in-person service delivery, the Achievement Center of LECOM Health has issued an extensive protocol to staff highlighting safety precautions as well as preparing staff with safety kits including proper PPE, sanitization items and masks. Additionally, the following precautions will be followed:

  • assessing clients/staff for COVID-19 symptoms prior to work, daily
  • limiting the number appointments for staff who are delivering face-to-face services
  • requiring all staff and clients/families to wear face coverings
  • continued restriction of clients/staff on-site to reduce the number of people in our facilities

Several of our programs have additional health and regulatory guidelines that must be followed to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality, in-person services. Your clinician will communicate any additional considerations as you move toward in-person services.

We look forward to partnering with you to help make your child’s appointments and treatment experiences as safe as possible. Thank you for continuing to choose the Achievement Center of LECOM Health to serve your child’s needs and for your dedication in upholding your part in our pandemic precautions for appointments whether at home, school, or one of the Center’s many locations. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns via email at info@achievementctr.org or by phone, 814-459-2755.

Stay safe and be well!
